We live in a world that tags labels on us based on what we do for a living or what school we attended, or who you are married to, or what car you drive, etc.... causing us to be in a constant frenzy, trying to find validation from others. Do you find yourself trying to please others and looking for approval from those you consider to be prestigious? Well I have! Many times I looked for the approval of those closet to me, from those that I admired, from those who I wish to be like. But in that search for what I call now "false validation," I found that I did not know who I was.

Ephesians 1:11-12
11-12It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.
